Brice Samba simply loves Nottingham Forest and he’s been posting flirtatious messages to the club’s supporters once again.

This time, the goalkeeper sold to Lens in the summer of 2022, has commented on a play-off semi-final video.

So, what exactly has Samba said about Forest this time? Let’s take a closer look…

What Brice Samba has now posted about Nottingham Forest

Well, Samba clearly holds some fond memories still from his time playing for Forest.

Yesterday, he retweeted a video of his play-off semi-final heroics and posted two words.

Samba was exceptional in that semi-final contest, saving three penalties to send Forest to the Wembley final.

It was the best night the City Ground had seen for some time and Samba was instrumental in the win.

After a fan tweeted about life peeking at the point of Samba’s final save in the semi-final, Samba responded accordingly, with the following:

Samba saved penalties from Oliver Norwood, Conor Hourihane and Morgan Gibbs-White that night.

His performance was quite spectacular and Samba earned praise from former Forest midfielder David Prutton.

Last season he was remarkable for Lens and Samba was voted in the top 10 goalkeepers in world football by FIFA.

Samba sorely missed on Trentside

We’re not going to go begging for the past to return but Samba is missed at Forest.

He wasn’t overly missed last season, with Dean Henderson and Keylor Navas both doing a job.

However, this term has been a struggle on the goalkeeping front and some fans have been longing for Samba.

The player was outstanding for the Reds during the promotion-winning season of 2021/22.

His two saves in the actual second leg of the semi-final earned penalties in the first place and they shouldn’t be forgotten.

Samba will always have a place in his heart for Forest and in our view, it’d be amazing for the goalkeeper to come back one day.
