The stock of Nottingham Forest defender Murillo continues to rise and the club think they’ve got a player who will at some point earn them a fortune.

Well, it seems as though Forest think they’ve got themselves an absolute gem when it comes to Murillo.

The defender was courted by Manchester City before Forest signed him and his form has been magnificent since he signed.

He’s been ever-present in the Premier League since making his debut against Brentford back in October.

The 21-year-old looks destined for a bright future and now some information has come to light about how Forest view his future.

According to The Telegraph, insiders at Forest believe that when it comes to selling the defender, the club will be able to command more than the £47.5 million they sold Brennan Johnson to Tottenham for.

In our view, that is a complete no-brainer and Murillo will make a significant profit on the £10.4 million that Forest paid Corinthians for his signature.

Murillo destined for stardom

The Forest recruitment often gets a bit of a raw deal from supporters, with every bad signing pounced upon.

Remarkably less is said about the work done behind the scenes to scout and then bring players like Murillo to Forest.

The youngster has more successful dribbles than any other central defender in the Premier League and he has some modern-day traits.
