A report has explained the first change that Nuno Espirito Santo made when he replaced Steve Cooper as the head coach of Nottingham Forest.
This information has come courtesy of The Telegraph.
So, what was it that Espirito Santo changed after replacing the likeable Cooper? Let’s take a closer look…
What Nuno Espirito Santo changed first when he arrived at Forest
Well, it would appear that the head coach has left no stone unturned in his quest to change the fortunes of Forest.
In truth, whatever Espirito Santo has done, it’s made a difference, with Forest winning three games under his management.
Now, according to The Telegraph, one thing that Espirito Santo didn’t like was the lack of time that the players spent at the training ground.
Now, he’s changed that situation and ensured longer days are put in place for the players to bond at the training ground – working on several different things.

Interestingly, he’s ensured that training typically begins at 10am and lasts no longer than around 90 minutes too.
It’s quite fascinating to discover that a more meticulous approach is being used at Forest and Espirito Santo has quickly got his methods across.
Forest must give Nuno the time to get things right
Evangelos Marinakis gave Cooper ample time to turn things around and now he must forgive Espirito Santo the same time.
The early signs are that Forest can do good things under the influence of the head coach, with each performance under his influence being largely impressive.
Forest have competed in every game under his stewardship and the hope will be that the team can pick up enough points before the end of the season to avoid relegation.
Espirito Santo wasn’t a universally popular choice when he was handed the Forest job.
However, it’s been refreshing to see positive performances since he came in and hopefully, Forest can progress under Espirito Santo.
