Nottingham Forest manager Nuno has given his verdict on his side’s defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park.
There was one aspect of Forest’s game that Nuno was really not happy with.
So, what has Nuno said after Nottingham Forest’s loss to Aston Villa? Let’s take a look.
Nuno comments on Nottingham Forest after Aston Villa match
Well, Nottingham Forest suffered a 4-2 defeat to Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Villa scored the opening goal of the match after just four minutes when Ollie Watkins tapped in after some brilliant work down the right by Leon Bailey. Douglas Luiz scored in the 29th minute and 39th minute.
As you can below, Forest manager Nuno was not impressed by his side’s defensive display.

Nuno told BBC Sport: “We started very bad, we conceded too easily. This is something we have to improve.”
When asked about being cut open down the right, Nuno said: “The attack from both sides, it is our responsibility to solve the problem. We will analyse the game to rectify and improve.
“It is too easy for the opponent to score. We are always able to score, so we need to balance these two parts of the game.”
Tough matches coming up
Aston Villa are in the running for a top-four place in the Premier League table this season, so a defeat for Nottingham Forest at Villa Park is not a surprise.
Many notable pundits backed Villa to win the Premier League match on Saturday afternoon.
What will be concerning for Forest is that they conceded as many as four goals. Defensively the Reds looked poor against Villa.
Forest now have a tough run of fixtures coming up. After the FA Cup tie against Manchester United at the City Ground on Wednesday evening, the Reds will face Liverpool at home and then Brighton and Hove Albion away in the Premier League.
Subsequent matches against Luton Town and Crystal Palace will be massive for Forest in their quest to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
