Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that he’s now concerned for Nottingham Forest.
The journalist made the claim on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel.
So, what has the man with his finger on the pulse said about the situation at Forest? Let’s take a closer look…
What Kaveh Solhekol has now said about Nottingham Forest
Well, this comes amid the breaking news today that Everton have been given four of the 10 points they had deducted back.
After an appeal hearing, the Toffees have now leapfrogged Forest in the table to 15th place.
It does perhaps offer Forest an idea of what to expect when their own case is heard – with Everton facing another deduction.

Solhekol now has some reservations over the Forest situation and he has admitted he’s slightly concerned.
He told the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel: “I think they will be looking at it like that (worst-case scenario being six points).
“The issue is that basically with these rules what you’re doing is handing in your accounts and they show that you’ve lost more money than you should have. It’s black and white.
“Then there is an independent commission hearing, the Premier League will say this is what they’ve done and it’s up to the club to defend themselves and suggest why they broke the rules. They will make all of those arguments.
“I would just be worried if I was a Forest fan, and of course every day you’ll be worried if you’re an Everton fan, because you think now if six points is the sanction and that is the benchmark and that’s been agreed with Everton and the Premier League are satisfied, does that mean that from now on whoever breaks these rules is definitely going to get six points?
“That is the worry that I would have.”
Kaveh raises a good point – but Forest just want this sorted
It is concerning that Everton have been given some points back. However, had they not, Forest would have been expecting a similar 10-point deduction.
Now, the Reds look likely to be hit with the same sanction. Indeed, it will be fascinating to see how this plays out from here.
Kaveh is hot on the big topics in football and he’s right to express these latest concerns.
For Forest, there will clearly be some sort of sanction. Now the club faces an anxious wait to discover their own fate.
In our view, the Premier League are playing with fire here.
Manchester City still have 115 charges hanging over their head, yet the ‘small clubs’ as Premier League chief Richard Masters called Everton and Forest, are getting punished left, right and centre.
It doesn’t feel right and the Premier League has a lot to answer for!
