Nottingham Forest defender Felipe is out of contract in the summer and now he’s shared that he has offers elsewhere.
The player has been speaking with PL Brasil.
So, what is the ongoing situation with Felipe and will he leave Forest in the summer? Let’s take a closer look…
Felipe has offers away from Nottingham Forest
Well, it has to be said that this doesn’t come as a surprise given how much quality Felipe possesses.
At 34-years-old, it wouldn’t be too much of an issue if he left Forest when his contract expires in the summer.
The player has struggled with injuries this season and he’s made as many appearances in the last seven days as he during 2023/24 prior to this week.
Felipe was in fine form as Forest beat West Ham last weekend but was withdrawn at half-time against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Speaking on his future, Felipe has now explained that he has received some offers from elsewhere.

He told PL Brasil: “I’ve not only received offers from Brazilian teams but also from Europe and Saudi Arabia. At the moment, I’m deciding some things about my career.”
Felipe set for City Ground exit
It seems very unlikely that Felipe will remain at the City Ground beyond the end of this season.
Ultimately, Forest signed Felipe to keep the team in the Premier League last season and he did just that.
After a 4-3 win over Southampton last season, Stephen Kelly called Felipe ‘sensational’ and he was seriously impressive last term.
Felipe has rolled back to the years to a certain degree with Forest – it’s just a shame that he’s not been fit for much of this season.
Whatever happens with Forest in their fight against survival, it seems highly unlikely that Felipe will be at the club next season.
Nuno Espirito Santo will make some changes regardless of the division that Forest will be in.
In our view, Forest fans will need to enjoy Felipe this season as it looks destined to be his last on Trentside.
