Nuno Espirito Santo has picked out the one Manchester United player who could really hurt Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

The head coach has been speaking to the official Forest YouTube channel.

So, what has Espirito Santo said about United ahead of tomorrow’s clash in the FA Cup? Let’s take a closer look…

Nuno Espirito Santo namechecks one Manchester United player to hurt Forest

Well, the answer from Espirito Santo came on the back of the news that Rasmus Hojlund will once again be unavailable against Forest.

The Danish striker didn’t play back in December when Forest beat United 2-1 at the City Ground.

Now, he’s going to miss the game tomorrow night through injury but Forest boss Espirito Santo is focused on the players who will be fit.

After being quizzed on Hojlund, he’s namechecked one player, suggesting Forest will have to keep a close eye on him.

He told the Forest official YouTube channel: “Yes Hojlund is out but they have very good solutions. For starters, they have (Marcus) Rashford and they have plenty of other attacking players who can play in the position. We still have to wait and see who will play for them.”

Boss hints that Forest need to watch Rashford

Last season, the England international destroyed Forest during the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at the City Ground.

Back in December, he also scored United’s goal after a comical mistake from Matt Turner – and he will need to be watched.

By his standards, however, this season has been pretty quiet for Rashford and he will want to hit some form with Euro 2024 around the corner.

Forest boss Espirito Santo can’t afford to focus solely on one player tomorrow night but Rashford will have to be kept at close quarters.

The Reds will hope to progress to the quarter-finals under the City Ground lights against United.

In our view, the team’s best chance of doing that will be by showing no fear and now letting the likes of Rashford settle during the 90 minutes.
