Wayne Rooney has lauded Anthony Elanga after Nottingham Forest were cruelly dumped out of the FA Cup last night.
The Reds lost 1-0 with Casemiro scoring against the Reds again to send United through to the last eight.

Well, Rooney made his punditry debut last night and in fairness, despite being a former employee of Derby, he had some positive comments about Forest.
One of those came when discussing Elanga and the brilliance that he showcased during the first half of the game.
Sadly for the 21-year-old, it was his silly challenge that allowed Bruno Fernandes to take the late free kick that ultimately saw United get the win.
However, his overall performance was good once again and the Red Devils might be ruing the decision to let him leave.
Rooney actually believes that Forest star Elanga was showcasing a certain attribute that he wished Marcus Rashford would show for United.
He said live on BBC One: “That’s what we want to see from Marcus Rashford in a Manchester United shirt. He’s a danger down the left-hand side for Forest”

In Elanga, however, Forest have a player who at £15 million looks like an incredible piece of business.
The 21-year-old is young, has pace to burn and this season he’s got 12 goal contributions to his name.
For Elanga, it was always going to be tricky to come in at Forest and shake off the comparisons with Brennan Johnson who was sold to Tottenham.
Now, however, he’s making a genuine claim that he’s even better than the departed star and long may his current form continue.
It’s so interesting that Rooney is keen to see Rashford be more like Elanga and United must have some regrets about selling to Forest.
