Richard Keys absolutely baffled by something which happened to Forest yesterday

Richard Keys has once again defended Nottingham Forest after Jakub Moder was sent off for a dreadful tackle on Neco Williams yesterday.

The pundit made some comments on the decision on his official blog.

So, what has Keys had to say this week about Forest? Let’s take a closer look…

Richard Keys defends Nottingham Forest after another howler

The Reds have been on the wrong end of some absolute stinkers this season – and this was another to add to an extensive list of errors by match officials.

Forest need to start putting some wins on the board pretty quickly and ultimately they can’t keep making the officials an excuse.

Last week, Keys defended Forest when Paul Tierney dropped the ball incorrectly back to Liverpool and they ended up scoring from it.

This week, he’s been left incensed once more after Michael Salisbury and Craig Pawson refused to send off Moder for Brighton.

Keys posted in his personal blog: “Oh. Craig Pawson got another one wrong as well. How on earth did Jakub Moder stay on the pitch at Brighton?

“I guess you could argue that Pawson shouldn’t have been needed in the bunker, because Michael Salisbury should’ve shown red immediately that Moder assaulted Neco Williams.

“It’s worth pointing out that both refs have got form when it comes to howlers this season.”

Forest running out of refereeing options

If one of Howard Webb’s remits is to ensure blundering referees don’t get sent to certain clubs, then Forest will be running out of options!

This one goes down as another error and who knows what might have happened had the Reds been able to play for around 20 minutes against a man less.

Nuno Espirito Santo was incensed and it was easy to see why. Morgan Gibbs-White called the latest decision ‘outrageous’ and Forest must be wondering when they might catch a break.

Keys is spot on once again with these comments on Forest. The madness simply has to stop and hopefully, the Reds can catch a bit of a break soon.
