Chris Sutton has now shared his prediction for the Premier League clash between Luton Town and Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The 51-year-old made the comments on BBC Sport.
So, what did Chris Sutton say about Luton Town vs Nottingham Forest? Let’s take a look…
Chris Sutton predicts Luton Town vs Nottingham Forest
Well, the man from Nottingham is expecting a tight game between Rob Edwards and Nuno Espirito Santo’s respective sides on Saturday.
Sutton said: “A victory (vs Bournemouth on Wednesday) would have put them (Luton Town) above Nottingham Forest in the table, which would have been massive going into this game, but their defeat makes me think they really have to win this one now – even though we won’t know the full picture at the bottom of the table until we find out about Forest’s possible points deduction.
“I don’t see them keeping Forest out, and I don’t think Nuno Espirito Santo will be beaten, either. A draw probably is not a bad result for them. 1-1”.

A win for Nottingham Forest against the Hatters would be hugely significant – to say the least – as it will see Nuno’s side rise six points above Luton Town and leave them languishing in 18th place.
Rob Edwards will be guessing
Nottingham Forest and Luton Town played out an entertaining 2-2 draw back in October while Steve Cooper was still in charge at the City Ground.
The Welshman’s starting XI looked quite different back then compared to Nuno’s side now, as Matt Turner started in between the sticks, Serge Aurier lined up on the right of defence, and Orel Mangala – who has since departed for Lyon – was named in midfield.

Therefore, Edwards will not have much from October’s 2-2 draw to lean on when Nottingham Forest arrive at Kenilworth Road, which could work in Nuno’s favour.
Whatever happens, it is – quite simply – a must not lose for Nottingham Forest, or else relegation may beckon.
