A report has this afternoon announced whether Nottingham Forest are planning to appeal their four-point deduction.
The Reds have dropped into the relegation this afternoon after it was announced that four points is the punishment for their FFP breach.
So, will Forest make an appeal and what else do we know about the situation? Let’s take a closer look…
Whether Forest are going to appeal four-point deduction
Well, at least now there is technically some closure with regard to this and Forest can now focus fully on the football side of things.
The Guardian have confirmed this afternoon that the sanction is a four-point deduction – two less than the six that Everton have lost this season.
Now, the publication has also revealed that Forest are going to appeal that sanction and hope to get some points back.

The deduction sees Forest slip to 18th in the Premier League, a point behind Luton who the Reds drew with at the weekend.
Forest right to appeal but focus is now needed
The Reds are right to appeal this one and hopefully, they can get a couple of them back at the very least.
Forest broke the rules and naturally, that means a punishment with four points hardly season-defining.
Two home games are on the horizon for Forest after the international break and they now look absolutely massive.
With Luton facing trips to Arsenal and Tottenham at the same time, it does give the Reds an immediate chance to get back above the dotted line.
Nonetheless, a bit of closure was needed and now Forest have to focus on football.
