Chris Sutton has now shared his prediction for the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be returning to N17 for the first time since Spurs decided to sack him just 17 games into the 2021/22 campaign.
The Portuguese tactician will be motivated to show Tottenham what they lost, while the 50-year-old will also be keen to see his Nottingham Forest side build some momentum after Tuesday’s fantastic 3-1 win over Fulham.
So, what does Chris Sutton think will happen in Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest? Let’s take a look…
Chris Sutton predicts Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest
Well, the Nottingham-born pundit has actually gone against his hometown.
Sutton is expecting a “big win” for Spurs, and has even backed Heung-min Son to score a hat-trick in north London.
For BBC Sport, the 51-year-old said: “Nottingham Forest’s win over Fulham on Tuesday was massive for them and a point here would be really important too.
“I don’t see it happening, though. Nuno Espirito Santo did not have much to celebrate during his brief spell as Spurs boss in 2021, and I can’t see him having much reason to smile on his return to the club.
“Like I do most weeks, I am backing Tottenham to click here. I am going to make Heung-min Son captain of my Fantasy team this weekend, because I am expecting a hat-trick from him, and a big win for Spurs.”

Nottingham Forest suffered a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in the reverse fixture back in December.
Goals from Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski handed Spurs all three points, although Nottingham Forest still cause the north Londoners problems by taking 15 shots and winning six corners – Tottenham managed 12 and four respectively.
Nuno will be slightly relieved
Speaking about Richarlison, the Brazilian will miss Sunday’s clash with a minor knee injury.
Now, nobody likes to see footballers suffer injuries, although Nuno may secretly be pleased that the South American cannot play against his side, given just how dangerous he has been recently.

Before Richarlison’s knee injury, he was the most prolific striker in the Premier League with nine goals in ten appearances.
Nevertheless, Nottingham Forest still need to bring their A game, as Postecoglou boasts other dangerous attackers such as Son, Timo Werner and, of course, Brennan Johnson – who recently sent a message to Neco Williams.
