Roy Keane gives his score prediction for when Nottingham Forest face Chelsea on Saturday

Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane has now provided his prediction for Nottingham Forest’s game on Saturday against Chelsea.

After what has been a turbulent campaign for Nottingham Forest, tomorrow could mark the end of the worry surrounding the club’s Premier League status.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side are going into the game tomorrow three points ahead of Luton Town who occupy the dreaded final spot in the drop zone.

With a better goal difference of nine, it almost makes Forest’s advantage over Luton four points with two games to play.

And come kick-off against Chelsea in Saturday’s later game, Forest could well know that a point could see them clinch survival if Luton are to lose against West Ham.

Speaking ahead of the game tomorrow, the former Forest midfielder Keane has now issued his prediction on the game.

Nuno’s men are coming into the game on the back of an impressive result on the road, but they are facing a Chelsea side who have been in-form of late.

Roy Keane shares his Forest prediction with survival on the cards

After back-to-back defeats against Everton and Manchester City, Nuno’s side were able to get back on track with a victory over Sheffield United.

The Blades are the only side confirmed to have gone down already this season and Forest knew only three points would do at Bramall Lane.

And that’s exactly what they were able to do with Callum Hudson-Odoi shining as he grabbed himself two goals.

Although Forest could go the final two games without earning a single point and still survive, Saturday will offer them a chance at avoiding any final day scares.

On the latest episode of the Stick to Football show, the panel have provided their predictions for the latest round of Premier League games.

After Gary Neville and Jill Scott predicted a 1-1 draw, Keane predicted a 2-1 win for Forest.

“Forest have to win, don’t they,” said Ian Wright.

To which Keane added, “Chelsea away from home are a different animal. But Forest might not have to win. Forest will stay up.”

Nottingham Forest have the chance to put uncertainty behind them

The points deduction has caused a massive headache at the City Ground this season with uncertainty hanging around the club until recently.

And then there has been the backlash through the club’s frustrations over the refereeing decisions which have gone against them.

All of this can be put behind them on Saturday with three points. Even if Luton do pick up a win, the goal difference could reassure Forest of their survival – if they are to beat Chelsea.

“Since the beginning, when there was the possibility of a points deduction, we have always faced it the same way – what we have to focus on is ourselves and on our job. It’s in our hands. We have already moved on,” Nuno told BBC Sport ahead of Saturday’s game.
