Burnley vs Nottingham Forest: What’s the story?

The Reds can still get relegated today but it would require Luton salvaging a 12-goal swing to edge above Forest.

Fans will point to the final day of the 2019/20 campaign when Forest somehow managed to fall out of the play-offs.

That day, Swansea needed a six-goal swing and managed to sneak in on the final day.

However, things are a little bit different now and this Forest team should be capable of getting the job done.

Vincent Kompany has managed to escape without much criticism this year.

He has used the same style of expansive football that saw the Clarets win promotion but it’s not worked in the Premier League.

Kompany could face a fight for his job at Turf Moor and it will be fascinating to see if he can survive.

Forest are going to undergo a big summer at the City Ground.

Several players will likely leave the football club and the Reds will try and recruit some real quality ahead of next season.
