Jason Lee has suggested that he’d like to see one of the players who went out on loan from Nottingham Forest last season return for 2024/25.
The Reds were busy in the summer of 2023 and in January they did some more business.
Forest had no fewer than 13 players out on loan at various points in 2023/24, with some staying local and some venturing further afield.
With the club challenging in the Premier League, it’s been easier to get certain players out on loan with offers more forthcoming.
Next season, it could be a market that Forest look to use again if some of their players can’t find clubs willing to buy them.
Now, Lee has taken to social media to suggest that he’d love to see one of the players who was loaned out earn another City Ground chance.

What Jason Lee has said about Joe Worrall
Lee is still involved at Forest on ambassadorial duties and he’s had his say on the situation with Joe Worrall.
Last week, Besiktas beat Trabzonspor 3-2 with a goal in the fourth minute of injury time to win the Turkish League Cup.
Worrall didn’t start the game but he did make it off the bench and posted pictures of him lifting the trophy on Instagram at the end.
Lee was impressed with the 27-year-old and he posted a message of congratulations on his images afterwards.
He said: “Well done Joe. Be good to see you back at Forest.”
Worrall faces fight to get Forest place back
It seems fitting that a piece is done on Worrall today, two years on from him captaining Forest to a win in the Championship play-off final.
He’s had ample chances in the Premier League but fell way down the pecking order last term.
It was claimed that Worrall wasn’t in the Forest team last season after a falling out with Steve Cooper.
Then, Nuno Espirito Santo preferred other options too, choosing to loan Worrall out to Besiktas instead of keeping him around.
Worrall can play, however, and Forest fans do like the notion of one of their own leading them in the Premier League.
Steven Gerrard called Worrall ‘fantastic’ when he was on loan at Rangers and playing football is paramount for the defender.
Whether that regular game time comes back at Forest remains to be seen…
