Nottingham Forest fans have really taken to Brazilian defender Murillo and now there is a cry from supporters to sign a perfect defensive partner for him.
Murillo announced himself to the Premier League with a brilliant maiden campaign in the top flight.
He was handed a surprise debut in October against Brentford and was ever-present in the Premier League from that point.
The challenge for both Steve Cooper and Nuno Espirito Santo was to find a player capable of playing alongside him.
Willy Boly was a safe pair of hands defensively but found himself injured more often than not last season.
Elsewhere, Andrew Omobamidele was handed some game time under Espirito Santo, with Moussa Niakhate also getting the nod to play alongside Murillo.
Next season it would surely be in Espirito Santo’s best interests if Forest had a more consistent partner for Murillo.
Now, Forest fans have found just the man for the job.

Nottingham Forest fans want dream partner signed for Murillo
It was announced yesterday by Fabrizio Romano that Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix looks set to leave the club this summer.
He claimed that there was interest from Spain and England and that he might be available for around £20 million.
That saw many Forest fans take to X and call for the club to land a player who does feel like a perfect partner for Murillo.
One fan wrote: “#NFFC big ask but be a great signing.”
There was yet more noise regarding Lacroix with another supporter saying: “Go on #NFFC I dare you.”
Someone else would be equally pleased with this addition and posted: “Imagine.”
Another fan felt it was inevitable the club would look closer at this one, posting:
Finally one posted: “We’ve got to go for him, he’d be perfect next to Murillo.”
Can Nottingham Forest sign Lacroix this summer?
Well, it would probably be a bit of a long shot even if the finances would be pretty comfortable for Forest.
Other Premier League clubs are naturally going to be interested in his services and that might shunt Forest down the pecking order.
Still, with George Syrianos pulling the recruitment strings this will surely be on his radar given his work with Bundesliga clubs previously.
Lacroix has made 129 appearances for Wolfsburg but with one year remaining on his contract, the 24-year-old looks set to depart.
Given that he does play on the right-hand side, it does feel like he would be a very good partner for Murillo at Forest.
Who Scored shows that he likes to dribble out from the back and boasts strong concentration skills.
Perhaps more appetising, however, is that they don’t have any major weaknesses listed and that is likely to mean interest is high in his services this summer.
