Nottingham Forest are trying to bring new players to the club ahead of the 2024/25 campaign – and another deal may now be close.
The Reds are trying for new additions in a number of areas as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to stabilise Forest as a Premier League club.
One area of the pitch that will be looked at is between the posts, with a goalkeeper among the shortlist of transfer targets.
Forest have already allowed Odysseas Vlachodimos to leave for Newcastle this summer and Matt Turner may also depart.
Matz Sels finished the season as the club’s number one but some competition will be sought for his position.

Player linked with Nottingham Forest now heading to England
Carlos Miguel looks to be very close to signing for Forest now amid weeks of speculation over his future.
According to Brazilian journalist Vessoni on X, Miguel has been snapped boarding a flight to England at the airport.
Miguel has a release clause of just £4 million and all that will remain to be sorted out is Forest paying Corinthians.
It’s not anticipated that there will be any issues with personal terms or the medical and the deal is now a step closer.
Miguel’s departure from the Brazilian top-flight outfit has been particularly messy.
His manager has been rather public in how dissatisfied he has been with Miguel and a transfer has seemed like the only option.
Forest may hit the jackpot with Miguel signing
The Reds could definitely do with a new goalkeeper and at 25-years-old, Miguel could keep goal for Forest for years to come.
Sels is also a very steady option but he’s not exactly viewed as a player with a long-term future in mind.
Forest had some success last season when it came to the South American market, with Murillo signing for £10.4 million.
The Reds now value him at around £70 million and Forest will hope Miguel can become an asset with resale value in the future.
Miguel stands at 6ft 8in tall and he’s going to be an imposing figure on the Forest team.
The proof will be in the performances he makes for Forest but at £4 million, this deal feel like a very attractive deal.
