The saga involving Ramon Sosa and Nottingham Forest has now taken another strong twist it would appear.
The Reds have been chasing another winger since the signing of Jota Silva last week – with Sosa the number one target it would seem.
At a number of points, it’s been claimed that Sosa has been close to heading to Forest – with it being claimed terms were agreed at one point.
Yesterday, it came to light that Forest had changed the offer when it came to submitting it officially following a verbal agreement.
Now, his current club, Talleres, have made a bit announcement on their official website about the future of Sosa this summer.

Club make huge announcement on Ramon Sosa future
It’s claimed that Talleres are keen to recoup around £20 million for the services of a player who is a full international for Paraguay.
He looks to boast an abundance of talent and once again Forest were going to dip into the South American market to sign what looks like a decent player.
However, the decision to mess around with the agreement looks to have backfired with the club now announcing that Sosa is back available for selection.
He had been training alone whilst the talks were ongoing, with the club’s owner Andres Fassi taking a firm stance on the situation.
The announcement – as translated by La Voz claims: “Ramon expressed his desire to take care of himself and continue his professional growth in another league and the club decided to support this possibility by starting conversations.
“Even after the initial conditions, the negotiations for a transfer did not reach an agreement. The fact that Sosa is once again being considered does not mean that he cannot leave.
“Sosa is once again at the disposal of the coaching staff, even though we know that with a month left with the transfer window open to analyse other possibilities for the benefit of all parties.”
Forest have to get serious of move on from Sosa
The new Premier League campaign is now just nine days away and Forest will want most of their squad finalised before then.
In fairness, they are tantalisingly close this time around unlike in previous campaigns where Forest have had gaps all over the squad.
Sosa appears to have been a top target and it does seem somewhat odd that the club has messed Talleres around somewhat with the offer.
Forest have been linked with a move for Wesley too this summer and perhaps now the club will move on to him instead.
One way or another this one is a saga that needs sorting and if Forest truly want to bring Sosa to England they’d be wise just to pay the money for him.
If not, the club must move on quickly and ensure Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad is properly stocked ahead of the transfer deadline.
