Nottingham Forest are in the market for more players and one of the names doing the rounds at the moment is Bradley Locko.
The Brest defender has just been playing for France at the Olympics and it looks highly likely he will leave this month.
Locko is wanted by Forest to shore up a defence that was among the worst in the Premier League last season – with a left-back very much on the radar.
Ola Aina and Harry Toffolo rotated the position last season but it would seem as though Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to enhance things further.
Locko looks like an extremely good signing for a number of reasons and we’ve had a look at why Locko could truly star at Forest.

Nottingham Forest want Bradley Locko
It’s been claimed all summer that Forest want Locko, with one report last week suggesting the Reds would offer him £35,000-a-week.
The move does suggest that Forest want to sign another left-back – and that would perhaps be bad news for Toffolo.
This is what Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wants to do, however, and he isn’t keen on merely making the numbers up and scraping to survive in the Premier League every year.
The Greek is ambitious beyond belief and he wants every area of the squad to be improved with quality players every single summer.
Locko looks like a logical addition to the squad and hopefully, it’s a deal that can get over the line now the Olympics has finished.
Locko could light up the City Ground if he joins Forest
This deal feels like it would be an exciting one if it came to fruition.
Locko helped Brest defy the odds and win a place in the Champions League by finishing third in Ligue 1 last season.
Brest had one of the best defences in the division as they enjoyed a memorable campaign – with Locko in the thick of things.
Who Scored highlights just how good the Forest-linked Locko was during the 2023/24 campaign.
With 56 successful dribbles across the campaign, he finished as the eighth-best dribbler in the division – boasting only six fewer than Kylian Mbappe.
Furthermore, with 97 tackles across the season, Locko finished as the second-best tackler in the entire division too.
He also stopped 14 crosses during the campaign which again made him the second-best in Ligue 1.
Locko is a player who would fit perfectly with the recruitment that Forest have made this summer.
He’s still only 22-years-old and if Forest can land him for just £13 million that has been mentioned it could represent a really good piece of business.
Locko gets up and down the pitch extremely well and the left-back could quickly become a fan favourite if he comes in and dazzles the City Ground faithful.
