Elliot Anderson is settling into life at Nottingham Forest following his summer transfer from Newcastle United.
The Reds did some financial gymnastics with the Magpies to sign Anderson – with goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos heading to north for £20 million.
Anderson came off the bench for the final 20 minutes on Saturday as Forest were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth at the City Ground.
The 21-year-old is settling in Nottingham and he will hope to get himself into the starting eleven under Nuno Espirito Santo sooner rather than later.
With Anderson getting to know his new teammates, he’s been quizzed on certain aspects of life at Forest – with some intriguing answers.

Elliot Anderson shares who is the toughest Nottingham Forest opponent in training
The talented utility man has been getting accustomed to life at a new permanent club for the first time.
Although he spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers, Anderson has otherwise grown up in the academy at Newcastle and moving to Forest will represent challenges.
Yesterday, he sat down with the club’s official media team and was asked who was the toughest opponent in training at Forest.
He said: Oh that’s a tough one. Ryan Yates. Yeah, Yatesy. He’s very aggressive.”
Anderson featured heavily during the pre-season campaign at Forest and it looks as though he will be one for the future.
Interestingly, it was Yates who got the nod to come on as a central midfielder on Saturday following a serious injury to Danilo.
Anderson and Yates could star in the same team
For Anderson and Yates it would have been disappointing to have been left out of the starting eleven on Saturday.
For Yates, it was a chance to get into the swing of things early following Danilo’s injury but Anderson had to wait.
As the season progresses, both players could be assets to the team.
Both Anderson and Yates are hardworking individuals and with energy and athleticism to bring to the table, some games might be tailor-made for the duo.
It’s no surprise that Anderson has picked Yates as the toughest to face in training.
He’s a constant menace on a matchday and as a heart on the sleeve type of player, it’s no surprise that he’s always giving his all in training.
