Nottingham Forest signed two players on transfer deadline day, with the window coming to a close in a less chaotic fashion on Trentside.
The floodlights were on late in the day as the window slammed shut but only Morato and James Ward-Prowse checked in at the club.
Eleven new arrivals were unveiled by Forest this summer, with two of them – Marko Stamenic and David Carmo – joining Olympiacos on loan for the season.
Forest made the decision early on transfer deadline day to bring Ward-Prowse to the club and he looks like being a very useful signing.
The man who is close to David Beckham’s record in the Premier League for goals directly scored from free-kicks, scored seven times and registered 11 assists last season.

James Ward-Prowse shares what wowed him when he joined Forest
The Reds produced a video on YouTube that went behind the scenes on deadline day when Ward-Prowse and Morato were unveiled by the club.
There was one thing on the video that seemed to wow Ward-Prowse that he discovered about Forest that he maybe didn’t realise before.
When looking around the newly-built museum at the club, he started looking at the information on the famous European Cup-winning teams.
It seems that Ward-Prowse was very impressed and didn’t realise the club had won back-to-back titles in the seventies and eighties.
He said on the video: “So it was two European Cups, back-to-back, wow! Wow!”
Forest history can weigh heavy on players but Ward-Prowse should be fine
Having moved to West Ham for £30 million last year, Ward-Prowse knows all about having expectations placed upon his shoulders.
In the past, some players appear to have folded like a cheap deck chair under the weight of the history behind Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Ward-Prowse clearly didn’t know about the history of Forest to the extent to which it took place and it appears he was impressed.
Forest fans should quickly warm to Ward-Prowse. He takes a brilliant set-piece and the quality headers in the squad should now get more chances created for them.
Hopefully, his experience can prove vital this season and Ward-Prowse can register goals and assists in the Garibaldi and help the team kick on.
