Nottingham Forest No.10 Morgan Gibbs-White has enjoyed quite a special September so far.
The man from Stafford made his debut for England in the recent 2-0 UEFA Nations League win over the Republic of Ireland, before playing a key role in Nottingham Forest‘s first win at Anfield since 1969.
As the whistle sounded to signal that historic victory over Liverpool, Morgan Gibbs-White was seen doing something interesting with Nuno Espirito Santo…
What Morgan Gibbs-White did with Nuno Espirito Santo
The 24-year-old was clearly over the moon to have thwarted Arne Slot’s side, and felt his boss deserved huge credit for masterminding the special win.
Gibbs-White could be seen running over to Nuno to give the Portuguese tactician a huge bearhug on the Anfield touchline immediately after the full-time whistle, in what was a lovely moment between the pair.
The celebrations did not stop there, however.

During various post-match interviews from the likes of Sky Sports and the BBC, loud music could be heard coming from the away dressing room as the Garibaldi thoroughly enjoyed a famous victory.
Ryan Yates arguably enjoyed it too much, as he dropped a swear word in his interview before quickly apologising!
Relationship repaired at Nottingham Forest
By the looks of it, Gibbs-White and Nuno have firmly repaired their relationship at the City Ground.
As a story from The Athletic from back in December 2023 states, the pair did not enjoy the strongest of bonds during their time together at Wolves, with many wondering whether the 50-year-old would be able to work productively with the England international after he replaced Steve Cooper last season.
In fairness, Gibbs-White and Nuno did seem to end on relatively fine terms at Molineux.

Now – however – all seems more than just fine, with Gibbs-White earning international recognition while also becoming the talisman of a side who are yet to lose in the Premier League so far this season.
Hopefully, the pair can achieve something special at the City Ground this season.
