Nottingham Forest’s remarkable start to the season will see them face Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday in their latest away trip.

Nuno Espirito Santo has to be delighted with the way in which Forest have started the new campaign as they sit in the top half.

Last week saw the Reds pull off the season’s first real shock result as Forest took all three points from Liverpool at Anfield as they also kept a clean sheet.

The game on Sunday on the south coast will see Forest looking to maintain their 100% win record on the road this season.

However, they will be facing another tough challenge as they come up against a Brighton side that sits marginally above them in the table.

But Forest will have full confidence in their manager following the seriously impressive start to the new season.

Not many will have expected Forest to have made the start they have with a lot of pundits backing the Reds for relegation this season.

But the positive summer both on and off the pitch is seemingly paying off as the Reds have hit the ground running.

Perhaps the biggest positive is there may well be the feeling there should be more points on the board after dropping leads in both of their home games.

And according to The Athletic, there is now a real feeling of belief behind what Nuno is building at the City Ground.

It is claimed there was the view that Steve Cooper was the man to bring Forest up from the Championship and is hugely respected for doing so.

However, Nuno is now seen as the man to take Forest forward in the top flight after what has been a sensational start to the campaign.

It has to be remembered that it is still very early days in the new campaign but the pressure can be relieved slightly ahead of Sunday’s game.

Forest have already ran away from the initial scrap at the bottom of the table which saw them go into the game at Anfield with no real pressure on their shoulders.

And that should be exactly the same against Brighton with a result away from home marking what would be a successful trip to the south coast.

And if last weekend’s game against Liverpool is anything to go by, it is clear the players are now fully invested in Nuno’s tactics.
