Nottingham Forest were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton as both teams remained unbeaten in the Premier League this season.

The Reds scored goals through Chris Wood and Ramon Sosa, taking a point against a team who have been in fine form of late.

Once again it proved to be the substitutes who made the impact from a Forest perspective.

Last weekend at Anfield it was Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga staking their claim for a place after being introduced as substitutes.

This weekend it was the turn of Jota Silva and Ramon Sosa to combine to score an equaliser and earn a share of the spoils.

Leading supermarket posts comical reaction to Jota Silva claim

This came on the back of a Wolves fan making a claim about Jota Silva following his solid performance from the bench against Brighton.

It promoted Aldi to get involved on X and they posted a comical response to the post.

The Wolves fan originally claimed – alongside a photo of Silva: “Why you buy Jack Grealish from the middle aisle in Aldi.”

To which the supermarket replied: “Must be a banging player then!!”

Jota Silva quickly becoming fan favourite at Forest

The 25-year-old has settled into life in the Premier League with Forest exceptionally well, with one goal and an assist from his outings so far.

Silva has a huge chance to start for the first time in the league this weekend with Morgan Gibbs-White set to miss the Fulham game through suspension.

If he does get that opportunity he’s the sort of player who will take things in his stride and do the very best he can out on the pitch.

His all-action performances have really caught the eye so far and he looks desperate to prove himself as a Premier League footballer.

Along with Sosa on Sunday he showcased that Forest have some seriously talented players at their disposal this season.

No longer will Nuno Espirito Santo be scratching around looking at his bench for something to change a game.

He is now blessed with lots of quality and as a result it will be intriguing to see what this squad can do this season.
