Nottingham Forest have managed to start the 2024/25 campaign in decent style and currently sit eighth in the Premier League.
The Reds have won twice and drawn three times from their opening five games and are one of four unbeaten sides at this stage.
Forest drew 2-2 with Brighton on Sunday in a game that saw Morgan Gibbs-White sent off by referee Rob Jones.
The Reds enjoyed a solid summer and it looks as though the early season form is down to the quality-over-quantity strategy adopted by the club.
Pundit Robbie Earle admitted after Forest beat Liverpool that he’d changed his mind about the club this season – and this is becoming a common trait among pundits.
Forest face Fulham this weekend and this are very much looking up for the Reds.

Alan Brazil stunned by something Nottingham Forest have done
The Reds are going about their business pretty quietly this season and a home game with Fulham provides another opportunity to get points on the board.
Forest haven’t actually won at home since beating the Cottagers back in April and the Reds will want to get things sorted on home soil this weekend.
Talk turned towards Forest when Alan Brazil had Mick McCarthy on his show this morning to discuss the struggles of Wolves.
Brazil admitted that some of the teams that he predicted to do poorly have actually raced out of the traps – including Forest.
He said on the Breakfast Show: “You look at some of the teams who I thought would be down there. Nottingham Forest! I thought they’d be right down there and look at them! Eighth! They’ve got nine points already!”
Forest must keep focused and keep kicking on
If Forest could win this weekend they would be averaging the two points per game that most teams strive for – and that would be a dream for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Naturally, Forest won’t keep that level of form up all season but it would go a long way to ensuring that the Reds won’t be in a relegation battle during the current campaign.
The main remit is to get as many points on the board as quickly as possible and be as comfortably away from the bottom three for as long as possible.
Recruitment has been good at Forest and hopefully, the team can remain settled and things can really improve during the course of the season.
Fulham had a great win against Newcastle last weekend and beating them at the City Ground won’t be an easy thing to do.
However, Forest will be desperate to improve the home form and Espirito Santo will be hopeful of a positive result this weekend.
