Alex Moreno may only be on loan but he’s already a favourite in the eyes of Nottingham Forest fans, which is evident from their response to his social media post

Nottingham Forest have the second best defence in the Premier League at this moment in time, and Alex Moreno has played a big part in that.

He’s not the only one though, as Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic have formed one of the most formidable central defensive partnerships in the league, plus Ola Aina has been superb.

Aina actually got in the act yesterday and celebrated by mocking West Ham after the game with a little song and a dance alongside Anthony Elanga.

His versatility is what this Nuno Espirito Santo side is all about, with players filling in all over the pitch and working for their teammates.

However, it was Moreno’s social media post after the game which caught the attention of Nottingham Forest fans, as they all said the same thing in response.

Alex Moreno joined on a season-long loan from Aston Villa in the summer months, and the loan deal does have an option to make it permanent.

He’s established himself as the first-choice left-back for Nottingham Forest, which has seen Ola Aina move over to right-back to make space for him.

Moreno’s celebration after the Leicester win put him even further into the hearts of Nottingham Forest fans, and he followed it up with his performance against West Ham.

Taking to X after the game, Alex Moreno shared his delight on the massive win and is keen to keep on improving at the City Ground.

These Nottingham Forest fans, when speaking on X, all urged Moreno to join the club permanently in the summer transfer window once his loan expires.
