The last two games have ended with Forest losing and conceding three goals in each of the games against Newcastle and Arsenal.

Espirito Santo had a few injuries to contend with after the Arsenal game with the Forest head coach suggesting Anthony Elanga was in a lot of pain.

Ahead of Saturday, the Forest head coach has now delivered an update on some of the injured players with Saturday just around the corner.

Nuno Espirito Santo delivers Nottingham Forest injury update

The Reds will face a tough opposition against Ipswich, with their last two games seeing the team win at Tottenham and draw with Manchester United.

Four players are on the treatment table it seems and will be assessed ahead of the visit from Ipswich on Saturday.

Forest will be desperately hoping to get back to winning ways and hopefully, there will be some attacking options back in contention at the weekend.

Espirito Santo told his press conference: “We will see tomorrow, we have to assess the players and see how they are.

“They’re improving, Danilo is also improving, let’s see how they are tomorrow. The same with Elanga, we are still waiting to see if he can play.”

Forest desperate to get Gibbs-White and Anderson back vs Ipswich

Having one of Gibbs-White or Anderson returning would be a huge boost for Forest this weekend.

Both players are among the most talented in the squad and it would be wonderful to think that both could make it.

At the moment it would appear that Anderson and Gibbs-White are competing for the number 10 spot but there is an argument to play both.

The pair bring guile and ability on the ball to the team and hopefully, those two – along with Elanga – can make it this weekend.
