Nottingham Forest fans are getting a little bit impatient after a couple of negative results in recent weeks, with one change in particular being called for.
Nuno Espirito Santo has done fantastically well up until this point at Nottingham Forest, but there has been a slight turn of the tide recently.
Of course, losing to Manchester City and Arsenal is by no means embarrassing and should probably be expected, but that’s six goals conceded in two games.

When it comes to playing the smaller teams Forest have it all worked out, but ever since playing against Liverpool, it seems as if the Reds have fallen back into a more negative style against the big boys.
Nottingham Forest fans seem to have noticed this, and have called for one change to be made.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s change of tactic at Nottingham Forest
Other than the Fulham clash, Nottingham Forest seem to have gone back into their shell against the so-called top six in the Premier League.
Against both Manchester City and Arsenal the mindset appeared to be titled more towards the defensive side, which just invited pressure and made it impossible to get out.

This was quite the opposite of what we saw in the Liverpool win earlier on this season, as we pressed high up the pitch and looked to keep the ball in those areas.
Of course, you don’t want to leave yourself stupidly open against the likes of Arsenal and City as they’ll punish you, but Pep Guardiola’s side in particular looked extremely vulnerable against Spurs a couple of weeks back when pressed, so perhaps that should have come into Nuno’s thinking.

Many Nottingham Forest fans, when speaking on X, all wanted to see more of a positive approach in games moving forward.
@capernosity wasn’t happy: “Cannot understand why he’s been so reluctant to repeat the Anfield formation.”
@MJM2017uk mentioned: “Tactics or lack of them. Same team and formation every time.”
@arfurdaley88 commented: “Strange I agree.”
