Nottingham Forest have a number of players surplus to requirements at the City Ground, and it appears as if Wolves fans have an eye on one of them.

Nuno Espirito Santo knows an awful lot about Wolves from his days managing them.

The Portuguese boss is looking to replicate his success at the City Ground after securing European football at Molineux, with the start to this season going a long way to doing that.

Willy Boly and Harry Toffolo are both on their way out of the club in the summer as things stand, as their contracts are set to expire in June.

But it’s neither of these players that have caught the eyes of Wolves fans, as they look to take a player on loan in the January transfer window.

Andrew Omobamidele’s time at Nottingham Forest

Andrew Omobamidele joined Nottingham Forest for around £11 million in the summer of 2023.

However, things haven’t panned out how he’d liked, as he’s only made 15 appearances in the year and a half at the club, with just one coming this season in the Carabao Cup.

Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo’s partnership has made it impossible for the Republic of Ireland international to get a look-in.

And when a centre-back has been called upon it’s been summer signing Morato.

A loan definitely looks like the right option for Omobamidele in January, as he’s only 22 years of age with plenty of ability and potential to be unlocked.

Wolves fans want Andrew Omobamidele on loan in January

Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans, when speaking on X, all said they’d be open to taking Omobamidele on loan in January due to their current centre-back issues.
