Nottingham Forest now find themselves in second position in the Premier League after picking up yet another win.
Nuno Espirito Santo has done an unimaginable job. This is far superior to anything that he managed at Wolves, as they were floating in and around the Europa League places.
Nottingham Forest are well on course to make Evangelos Marinakis’ dream of securing European football come true, but we can’t get complacent.
This would not have been possible without his guidance and monetary support, and he’s now looking to expand with Lina Souloukou on board.
However, it appears as if there could be a shock exit on the cards, as Jota Silva is attracting interest despite only joining in the summer.

James McAtee listed as a potential replacement for Jota Silva
Jota Silva only made the move from Portugal in the summer and has been used a fair bit by Nuno Espirito Santo already, appearing 19 times in all competitions.
He has only started four times and has one goal and one assist to his name, but he’s looked bright.

Interestingly, it appears as if he could be set for a January exit, but it remains to be seen as to whether that’s on loan or permanent.
According to the Daily Mail, there is interest in Jota Silva so they could look at replacing him with the likes of Manchester City’s James McAtee, who is valued at £25m.
An unexpected turn of events at Nottingham Forest
Jota Silva has looked positive and showed quality in his limited appearances, so to think Forest are looking at possibly letting him go seems very strange.
James McAtee would arguably be an upgrade and impressed at Sheffield United when given regular minutes, but it’s unlikely he’ll be allowed to leave Manchester City. The midfielder looked bright for the Citizens against Leicester and even got a mention from Pep Guardiola.
Of course, anything can happen in a January transfer window, but you would think that the only way Jota leaves is if there’s some kind of replacement lined up.
