It wasn’t all positives for Nottingham Forest at Goodison Park, as Murillo suffered an injury prior to kick-off.
Nottingham Forest continue to go from strength to strength in the Premier League, and are showing no signs of letting up right now.
Nuno Espirito Santo was hailed for yet another piece of genius against Everton, as his decision to let Morgan Gibbs-White take up a slightly deeper role at times in Murillo’s absence proved crucial.
Murillo‘s absence was a concern for Nottingham Forest with no real signs as to how long he could be out for after feeling something in the warm up.
And, he’s now taken to his Instagram after the match to give Nottingham Forest fans an update.

Murillo issues injury update on Instagram
Murillo has been one of the standout performers for Nottingham Forest in the current campaign, playing a massive part in the Reds sitting in second place.
The Brazilian has wowed just about every pundit there is.

The defender has finally spoken out on his injury after a rather small update from Nuno Espirito Santo, as he took to his personal Instagram account.
He stated.
‘Very happy for today’s big win and happy that I didn’t get seriously injured. Happy New Year to everyone and see you next year.’
How did Morato do in his absence?
Morato couldn’t have done much better in place of Murillo.
The Brazilian made an incredible 13 clearances, one interception, four tackles and won four duels.
He hasn’t had a massive amount of game time so far this season, but whenever he’s been called upon he’s proved to be very trusty.
With a free-scoring Wolverhampton Wanderers side up next, Nuno will be hoping that Morato can continue his fine form if Murillo doesn’t make it.
