Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White will be keen to make the matchday squad tomorrow night when England face Latvia.
Forest fans haven’t been at all impressed with England head coach Thomas Tuchel.
First, the new boss decided to leave Gibbs-White out of his thinking altogether and after calling him up when Cole Palmer was struck down with injury, proceeded to leave him out of the matchday squad for the game against Albania.
Forest fans were fuming with Tuchel. Some urged Gibbs-White to pack his bags and tell the England boss politely that he no longer wasn’t interested in the England squad but that was never going to happen.
Playing for England means a lot for Gibbs-White and now there has been some news that suggests that the Forest man might just be getting his rewards for some fine form.

Thomas Tuchel shares what has impressed him about Morgan Gibbs-White
It would have been hard for Gibbs-White to sulk after not even making the bench for the World Cup qualifier against Albania.
However, that’s also not in the 25-year-old’s makeup and Tuchel has admitted that Gibbs-White trained extremely well after the game against Wembley.
He’s also suggested that a place in the squad beckons for the City Ground star tomorrow night.
He told Sky Sports News: “It’s very likely that he will be in the squad. Morgan is an amazing character, I have to say that, I’m happy that he’s with us, he deserves a lot of praise, first of all the first disappointment when he was not in the squad, he handled it very well because when he got the second call, straight away he was excited, he didn’t take it personally.
“I can see why he’s a winner, I see that, he won with the youth teams, titles, he’s a fantastic team player and he can handle disappointment very well.
“When we trained after the match at Wembley he was one of the outstanding players again even though he was not in the squad and that’s amazing. That’s how we expect it to be.”
Forest fans will be desperate for Gibbs-White to star for England
If Gibbs-White gets some minutes for England it can only benefit Forest in the long run.
The Reds might have a valuation of Gibbs-White should clubs come calling in the summer and if he plays for England in a World Cup qualifier that might go through the roof.
The talented midfielder can play in a number of roles these days and his potential has been there for all to see this season.
Now, the hope will be that England can take a comfortable lead against Latvia tomorrow night, allowing Gibbs-White to get on the pitch and showcase the talent that Forest fans have been witnessing all season.
