Nottingham Forest had one player who was even better than Nikola Milenkovic vs Brighton

Nottingham Forest have set up a semi-final clash in the FA Cup after knocking out Brighton at the AMEX Stadium.

The Reds stood firm in the 0-0 draw before prevailing 4-3 on penalties, with Matz Sels and Ryan Yates the heroes of the hour.

Wayne Rooney was made to look silly with some of his comments, with Nuno Espirito Santo choosing to rotate his pack a little bit.

Unlike Rooney, however, the Forest head coach knows his onions when it comes to management and it appears he got things spot on.

Forest will now look forward to another trip to Wembley Stadium after playing there for the first time during the 2021/22 Play-Off Final.

Elliot Anderson shows star quality vs Brighton

It was quite an astonishing performance by Anderson in the quarter-final against Brighton.

He was given the nod in midfield, despite Espirito Santo choosing to make some changes to his team for the clash.

Anderson has been in great form since getting into the team back in August and his ability to switch between roles in games is very useful.

At 22-years-old, Anderson has a really bright future ahead of him and quite clearly, he’s one of the first names on the team sheet right now.

Anderson gave absolutely everything he had against Brighton and although Nikola Milenkovic received the Player of the Match accolade, the youngster made a strong case of his own.
