Anthony Elanga experienced a big night at the City Ground last night.

Clearly, the winger was desperate to showcase his quality to the club who binned him off and just six minutes in, he caused the stadium to burst at the seams.

Elanga drove three-quarters of the pitch and with Morgan Gibbs-White for company to bamboozle the opposition, he planted an unstoppable effort beyond Andre Onana.

Yates was quizzed on the goalscorer after the game and he absolutely loves playing in the same team as him.

He told TNT Sports: “He is a dream for a midfielder. Especially us sitting in that low-block. You can just give him the ball and he does the rest.”
