Nottingham Forest are on a collision course to try and qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Reds sit third in the Premier League table and face seven huge games to try and force their way into the elite club competition for next season.
Forest were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa last weekend but all is not lost, with Chelsea and Manchester City dropping two points apiece.
It’s got to the stage of the season where the movers and shakers are approaching the final bend ahead of the home straight, with pundits making their predictions.
Craig Bellamy made his on Monday Night Football and he doesn’t think Forest will make it when it comes to the Champions League places.

Jamie Carragher predicts whether Nottingham Forest will make Champions League
The Sky Sports pundit has made his call on who he thinks will reach the Champions League next season – and he thinks Forest will make it.
The Reds have work to do but ultimately, they do have points on the board when it comes to their rivals for the places in the competition.
European football of some sort does feel nailed on but Forest will want to finish the job and claim Champions League football from this position.
Carragher said on the Sky Sports Football Podcast: “I think Nottingham Forest will just do it. I think Chelsea will miss out. I think they’ve got the toughest fixtures. I think Newcastle will make it. And I think Manchester City will just make it as well. Because I look at those last four fixtures, and I look at Manchester City’s there, I think you’d expect them to win all four of those games, even if the troubles that they’ve had this season.
“So I think in that running as well, they’ll just do it. I think Aston Villa still got the FA Cup, still got two Champions League games at least. We’ll see. So I think Aston Villa will just miss out. So for me, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Man City to make it.”
Forest have to stay grounded and tick the games off
There is still a lot of work for Forest to do in order to qualify for the Champions League and it’s vital that the feel stay firmly on the ground.
In fairness, Espirito Santo won’t be getting carried away just yet and he will know that the job is far from finished.
Carragher is right to suggest that Forest are probably in the driving seat, especially with points already on the board at this stage of the season.
However, a couple of defeats and doubts might set in again with some of the other clubs, more experienced in this situation at the end of the campaign.
Forest have very winnable games left on the horizon, however, and the emphasis is now on the team to keep ticking the games off and achieve the ultimate goal.
