Nottingham Forest beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in North London to roar back to third place in the Premier League table in the quest for Champions League football.

The Reds were brilliant in the opening 45 minutes, with Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood giving the Reds a two-goal cushion, with Wood also seeing a goal ruled out for offside.

Forest had to dig deep and when Richarlison scored with four minutes of normal time remaining, the nerves started to jangle, having lost 1-0 to Everton courtesy of a 94th-minute goal last time out.

Nuno Espirito Santo went with a surprising team to a certain degree, with Harry Toffolo coming for his first game for a few months, with Alex Moreno seemingly saved for the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

Toffolo produced a stunning goalline clearance to deny Richarlison in the second half and fans have gone crazy about it on social media.

This was a simply outstanding performance from Toffolo and he’s given Espirito Santo a huge headache ahead of the FA Cup semi-final which will take place at Wembley on Sunday.

The goalline clearance, which he proved wasn’t straight forward and he was forced to react quickly in order to keep the ball out of the net after a great header by Richarlison.

For Toffolo to come in and play in such a fashion was quite remarkable in fairness and it serves to highlight what a true professional he’s been at the club.

Espirito Santo will now have a careful thing about his team selection for Sunday’s FA Cup game against Manchester City, with Toffolo surely in the mix.
