Anthony Elanga has been one of Nottingham Forest’s star performers this season and is now attracting interest from a host of clubs.

With six goals and nine assists to his name this campaign, Elanga has earned widespread praise for his performances.

The 22-year-old has managed to take his game to another level this season, with Elanga’s behind-the-scenes efforts paying off immensely

So, with the Swede flying for Forest, it may come as no surprise that he is attracting interest from several teams, with former club Man United even registering an interest.

Nottingham Forest set Anthony Elanga price tag

Despite Ruben Amorim aiming a dig at Elanga after Forest’s 1-0 win over the Red Devils, it seems like Man United are keen on reuniting with their academy graduate.

That is according to CaughtOffside, who claim Amorim’s side are considering resigning Elanga, two years on from his Old Trafford exit.

Selling the Swedish international isn’t one of Forest’s priorities this summer, but it is believed that a fee of £43m may tempt them into a sale.

Forest are keen on extending Elanga’s contract, so any possible suitor will have to move quickly for the 22-year-old.

Elanga should stay away from Man United return

Having come through the Red Devils academy, no one could begrudge Elanga if he wanted to return to back to Old Trafford.

He would, however would be wise to avoid such a move.

Elanga highlighted the difference of playing for Forest compared to Man United, pinpointing how he can be effective in Nuno Espirito Santo’s counter-attack system.

So, with Forest perfectly suiting his style of play and the Red Devils struggling under Amorim, staying at the City Ground would no doubt be the correct decision for Elanga this summer.
