Nottingham Forest are preparing for a busy summer transfer window.

Either way, whichever European competition they end up in, Forest’s squad will need to be bulked up ahead of a congested fixture list next term.

Nuno Espirito Santo is already eyeing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, whilst there have been links to Manchester City’s James McAtee.

Nottingham Forest have made a concrete approach to sign Maghnes Akliouche after his impressive season in Ligue 1 with Monaco.

The highly-rated winger is valued at around £50m and Forest fans have been reacting to the transfer rumour on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This is unrealistic but if we somehow pull this off, this is a huge coup,” @Anon_Wh0 posted.

“Would be a brilliant signing, but can’t see it happening at that price and other clubs in for him,” @BloggOdds said.

“This guy is good, watched him a lot this season,” @everybdy8schris commented.

Akliouche is regarded as one of the best young wingers on the continent and his statistics reflect that this season.

The 2002-born has registered a whopping 19 goal involvements for Monaco, plying his trade predominantly on the right wing.

Liverpool and PSG are reportedly keeping tabs on Akliouche, so it certainly won’t be an easy deal to pull off for Forest.
