Nottingham Forest will be in the market for a number of players in the summer with a new full-back likely to be targeted.
The Reds have had Ola Aina on the right-hand side of the back four this season, with Neco Williams doing a very capable job as a makeshift left-back.
Beyond those two, however, there is very little in reserve and in the summer, Alex Moreno will return to Aston Villa, whilst Harry Toffolo could well be released at the end of his existing deal.
That means that all roads lead to the transfer market in the summer and Forest are now being mentioned as an interested party in the race to sign a Premier League player.

Nottingham Forest want Leif Davis
The Ipswich Town defender looks set to leave Portman Road this summer after Kieran McKenna failed to keep the Tractor Boys in the Premier League this season.
According to reports, Forest are looking into the possibility of bringing Davis to the City Ground this summer in an attempt to bolster the full-back options at the club.
Davis has been with Ipswich since checking in from Leeds United back in 2022 and helped the club secure back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has produced the goods for Ipswich during his time in East Anglia but relegation back to the EFL leaves the club in a perilous position when it comes to being able to keep him.
Davis is the Premier League’s best left-back for key passes
Naturally, there have been better left-backs on the whole than Davis but he is outperforming his peers when it comes to key passes.
Who Scored highlights that Davis is way out in front on 58 key passes, with Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri in second place on that list with 41.
Davis has one more interception than Forest left-back Williams and at 25, he fits the profile of the sort of player that Forest might look to sign at full-back.
The Ipswich defender might not come in as an immediate first-team player ahead of Williams but with Europe on the table, he appears capable of providing competition for the place from the bench.
