Nottingham Forest will look to do some business this summer, but in order for signings to arrive, other players will need to depart the club.
Newcastle desperately want Anthony Elanga. However, Forest will try and do their business without getting rid of their prized assets.
Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Murillo and Elanga will all be the subject of interest, but after finishing seventh and qualifying for Europe, Forest will want to build.
With July just around the corner, it looks as though business is going to pick up in the coming weeks, and it feels like an exciting time to be a Forest supporter.

Besiktas wanted Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare
According to Turkish reports, Sangare was the subject of a loan offer from Besiktas for Sangare this summer as they look to shape their squad for next season.
The offer was rejected straight away, with Forest keen to keep the player who was signed from PSV back in the summer of 2023 for £30 million.
Sangare hasn’t quite hit top form since arriving at Forest with injuries and a bout of malaria hampering his progress at the City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo started the Ivorian midfielder in his team for the final games of the season, with Sangare earning praise for his Forest performances.
Sangare is wanted at Forest for next season, and bids are unlikely to be entertained during the current window, unless, of course, it proves to be one that simply can’t be turned down.
Sangare’s former coach, Aad de Mos, called Sangare ‘extraordinary’ when he was still at PSV and the hope will be that he can live up to that tag at Forest eventually.
Sangare can thrive at Forest next season
With Espirito Santo getting a new deal at Forest, it feels like next season could be the one where Sangare really proves himself as a Premier League footballer.
When called upon in 2024/25, he was largely brilliant and ultimately, the hope will be that he can pick up where he left off when domestic football returns to action.
Letting Sangare leave would be a mistake given that he’s the number six enforcer that Forest need to have in certain games and replacing him would cost big money this summer.
Furthermore, it felt like the combative performer was just getting going when the season finished last term and he will undoubtedly return looking to grab his shirt back for the next campaign when pre-season training gets underway.
