Nottingham Forest are signing striker Igor Jesus from Botafogo once the Club World Cup finishes in the United States.
Jesus has waved goodbye to Botafogo fans and looks set to make his move to the East Midlands shortly after the tournament.
The 24-year-old has been sought-after for a little while, with Jesus rejecting Forest during the January transfer window to complete title glory with Botafogo.
With the transfer seemingly signed and sealed, Forest fans have been anxiously watching Jesus at the Club World Cup, and last night he was in action once again.

Brazilian media spot something about Igor Jesus that will excite Forest fans
With every game that Jesus plays at the Club World Cup, it looks more and more as though Forest have struck gold.
The 24-year-old helped Botafogo qualify for the last 16 of the competition last night, despite a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
Jesus scored the winner against PSG last time out, and although he couldn’t help his team win against Diego Simeone’s team, the Forest man did win some praise.
Globo scored him 8/10 for his efforts and said: “Another standout performance on a major stage in world football.
“Right in the pivot position, he created Botafogo’s biggest chance in the first half with a great pass to Savarino. He really bothered Atlético’s defenders with his physical play and almost scored after a cross from Cuiabano, which forced Oblak to make a great save.”
Jesus can star at the City Ground
Thankfully, it looks as though Forest have completed this deal behind the scenes, which is good considering his brilliant performances at the tournament.
Jesus is a star in the making, it would seem, and at 24, he has ample experience to suggest that he should be capable and unfazed about playing in the Premier League.
It’s fascinating that his hold-up play has been hailed by the Brazilian media after last night’s game, with that likely to be very useful in Nuno Espirito Santo’s team next season.
Seemingly, Jesus has some similar qualities to those of Chris Wood and given the two will compete for a place in the team, it bodes incredibly well indeed.
