Nottingham Forest are gearing up for a busy month when it comes to transfers, with things starting to heat up.
Sadly for Forest, the first piece of news right now is regarding Anthony Elanga and his move to Newcastle, nearing completion.
The Sweden international is due in Newcastle for a medical today, with things set to be finalised in the next 24-48 hours.
In terms of incoming deals, Igor Jesus has already checked in at Forest, and he comes from Botafogo with a burgeoning reputation.
Another player is set to leave Forest too, and he’s now hinted that he’s set to have his City Ground departure announced officially.

Ramon Sosa posts cryptic Instagram post
Yesterday, it would appear that Sosa was on his way to Brazil to sign for his new club in the coming days.
Forest have agreed to sell Sosa to Palmeiras for a fee in the region of £11 million with the player out of favour under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Sosa posted a photograph on Instagram of him sat on a plane waiting for it to take-off and also posted three shush emojis.
It would appear that the writing is on the wall for the player who started just one Premier League game last season.
Forest have to get busy in the transfer market
The 25-year-old gave his all in the games he was called upon and he was pretty impressive in the FA Cup.
Sosa didn’t get the nod to start the semi-final against Manchester City, and perhaps that was the beginning of the end.
Forest are right to let Sosa leave the football club, but now it’s important that the club get busy in the market.
Jota Silva and Callum Hudson-Odoi are the only two wingers currently at Forest’s disposal and that simply won’t be enough for the season.
