Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Jair Cunha from Botafogo this summer and the player looks like an intriguing signing.
Not many Forest signings in the past have stood at 6ft 6in, but that is what the Reds can get used to with Cunha in their team.
Cunha is currently enjoying an extended break after starring at the Club World Cup, where he helped Botafogo come through a tough group that featured PSG, Atletico Madrid and the Seattle Sounders.
Murillo will be waiting at Forest to welcome Cunha to the football club and it would appear that the 23-year-old is turning into a bit of a big deal in his homeland.

Jair Cunha shares what players in Brazil are saying about Murillo
Forest beat Manchester City to Murillo in the summer of 2023 and as it turns out, they might have missed a trick.
Murillo has developed into one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe and looks set for an extremely bright future in the game.
It turns out that people are starting to take notice of Murillo in Brazil and Cunha has lauded his impact in England upon arrival at Forest.
In his first interview for the official website, he said: “Definitely, we young players are inspired by players like Murillo who move to Europe. I think he’s done brilliantly at Forest, player of the season in his first season. He’s a role model and reference not just with Forest but also the Brazilian National Team. I hope to follow in his footsteps.
“I haven’t had the chance to speak to them yet, but it will definitely be a big help having Brazilians in the squad. I think it will help a lot and I’m delighted to be joining them to make history at Forest.
“I think it really drives you to have such an ambitious owner at a club with such ambitious people. You can then come here to add to this, with all your own ambition and that’s fantastic.”
Cunha can be competent backup for Forest
With Forest fighting on four fronts next season, it would be great to have a bigger squad and defensively things look pretty sound.
With Willy Boly signing a new contract and Morato still at the club, it seems likely that Forest are done when it comes to buying central defenders.
With Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic the first choice at central defence, it will be hard for Cunha to force his way into the team initially.
However, with Europe on the cards, Cunha should get plenty of game time and his arrival could prove to be a very exciting one for Forest.
