Nottingham Forest have had a pretty high turnover of players since returning to the Premier League in the summer of 2022.
During the first two transfer windows as a Premier League club, Forest signed no fewer than 30 new players, with a number of those making zero impact.
These days, Forest are far more savvy when it comes to the transfer market and are currently trying to sign players to bolster the squad.
Anthony Elanga has departed Forest for Newcastle, whilst doubt remains over the City Ground future of Morgan Gibbs-White.
As Forest try to sign new players to add to the squad, another former Reds player could be about to embark on the Premier League for the very first time.

Tottenham want Loic Bade
According to Foot Mercato, Tottenham are keen to sign Bade this summer, with Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Sunderland also in the mix for his signature.
It’s believed that the player is up for sale by Sevilla this summer and that has alerted Premier League clubs towards a possible signing.
Bade signed for the La Liga outfit for a fee of £10 million and his current club are now looking to recoup around £27 million to sanction his departure this summer.
Forest have a plethora of defenders at the City Ground but at a time when Steve Cooper didn’t, he still failed to win a single appearance under the former head coach.
He lasted just six months on Trentside before he headed to Sevilla and would become a Europa League champion just months after his departure.
What Steve Cook said about Loic Bade
Cook was one of the players who kept Bade out of the team in the first half of the 2022/23 campaign and he was a big fan of the Frenchman.
Bade failed to impress Forest promotion-winner Cooper during his time at the club and made just one matchday squad during his time on Trentside.
The centre-back made an impact on Cook, and he heaped praise on the player despite the fact he failed to get on the pitch.
He told the Red Side of the Trent podcast: “Loic Bade was an amazing player, amazing, he didn’t get a chance for one reason or another.
“He came in quite hot as in he was quite opinionated. Maybe, that didn’t fit the narrative of what the manager wanted. But he was, we’re seeing it now, I always see it on Twitter, he was technically terrific, an amazing player.”
Bade will be happy to come to the Premier League this summer and try to showcase just how wrong Forest were not to play him during his ill-fated spell.
Now, it will be interesting to see which team actually wins the race to secure his services ahead of the new Premier League campaign starting next month.
