Dan Ndoye and Nottingham Forest bombshell out of Italy just hours after Manchester United join the race

Nottingham Forest are intensifying their interest in Bologna winger Dan Ndoye.

The Reds are desperate for reinforcements out wide after Forest decided to sell Anthony Elanga to Newcastle earlier this summer.

Forest have also lost Ramon Sosa during the current transfer window and with wide options in short supply, the Reds need to get busy.

Nuno Espirito Santo still wants to add at least four players to his ranks this summer and Forest do need to get very busy to ensure the squad is well stocked.

Dan Ndoye bombshell delivered with Forest in pole position

According to Napoli Magazine, Ndoye is now going to be the subject of a £37 million proposal from Evangelos Marinakis.

It would appear that the Reds are entering the critical stage of negotiations with Ndoye having already agreed personal terms with Forest.

Forest do look to be edging closer to an agreement with Bologna for Ndoye and the player would be a very useful addition to the squad in the wake of Elanga leaving.

Ndoye was quicker than Mbappe at Euro 2024 and last season, he bagged nine goals and claimed six assists as Bologna won the Coppa Italia.

Manchester United now keen to sign Dan Ndoye

This could be the work of an agent trying to speed up a move but it’s claimed that Manchester United like Ndoye too.

It’s not really a surprise given that Manchester United were hapless last season, although the signing of Bryan Mbeumo does make the link a little bit intriguing.

What the interest from the Red Devils does prove, however, is that Forest need to get moving.

Bologna are open to selling and it’s now time for Forest to stop low-balling and simply pay Bologna whatever they want to receive for their star player.
