Nottingham Forest forward Dan Ndoye is adapting to life in the Premier League after a summer move from Bologna.
When Anthony Elanga signed for Newcastle, Forest had a void to fill and chose to part with around £34 million to bring Ndoye to the football club.
Last weekend, Ndoye earned praise from Nuno Espirito Santo after scoring a goal on his debut as Forest blew Brentford away at the City Ground.
Ndoye was handed the chance to start again at Crystal Palace, with Espirito Santo opting for an unchanged team at Selhurst Park.

Dan Ndoye breaks 27-year record in second game for Forest
In truth, Ndoye found the opening stages of the game against Palace tricky, but he grew as the game wore on and in the second half, came into his own.
In the 57th minute, with the Reds trailing in the game, Ndoye cushioned the ball over the head of Will Hughes before zipping a breathtaking pass into the path of Hudson-Odoi, who duly obliged.
In registering the assist for the goal, Ndoye broke a 27-year record held by Geoff Thomas, becoming the first player since 1998 to score or assist in each of his first two Premier League appearances.
Ndoye was in fine form after the goal and showed much more willingness to get on the ball and formed a big part of the second-half performance.
Dan Ndoye stats vs Crystal Palace
The Swiss performer is going to be a big player for Forest this season and the hope will be that he can get up to scratch very quickly.
What is pleasing is that despite showing patchy form in his first two appearances, he’s already got a goal and an assist to his name in the Garibaldi.
| Dan Ndoye stats vs Crystal Palace | Total |
| Assists | 1 |
| Dribbles | 2 |

Ndoye has shown fleeting promise in the first two games and Espirito Santo will keep working with the performer to make sure he can get up to speed quickly.
With lots of games to come this season, there will be lots of rotation, but right now what Ndoye needs is minutes and he should have done enough to keep his place for the game against West Ham.
