Dan Ndoye is getting to grips with life in the Premier League after signing for Nottingham Forest.
The player made the switch from Bologna in the summer, after Anthony Elanga had chosen to sign for Newcastle in a deal worth around £60 million.
Ndoye broke a 27-year record with his assist against Crystal Palace on Sunday, following up from his goalscoring debut against Brentford.
As the Switzerland international has come into the team to replace Elanga, the comparisons will naturally come between the two players.
With that in mind, Ndoye has moved quickly to share exactly how he feels regarding those comparisons with the departed Forest man.

Dan Ndoye delivers verdict on comparisons with Anthony Elanga
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that the two players are somewhat different but it might not necessarily be a bad thing.
Elanga was all-action and blistering pace but perhaps Ndoye has already shown that his end product can be somewhat better than the Swede’s was.
Speaking to The Athletic, Ndoye expressed a desire to confirm that he’s different to the man he’s replaced, seemingly wanting to take the pressure off somewhat.
He said: “I just try to be myself. Elanga did a great job when he was here, but I will do the best I can. I am a different player. I want to bring my own quality, as much as I can.”
Ndoye can become a Forest star
Although Ndoye has made a strong start with a goal and an assist, his overall play will need to be brought up to speed in the Forest team.
His pass for Callum Hudson-Odoi’s goal at the weekend was just sublime and it showcased exactly what he’s capable of on his day.
Ndoye does feel like a strong signing and at 25-years-old, he’s at a nice age where Forest can give him the support and relevant game time to help him get up to speed quickly.
Elanga is one of the fastest players in the Premier League and although he’s going to be a big miss, Ndoye has highlighted where he can improve the team so far at Forest.
