It’s been a great week for Nottingham Forest when it comes to international football.
Elliot Anderson was hailed by England fans for his performance as the Three Lions defeated Andorra 2-0 at Villa Park, with Morgan Gibbs-White also getting on the pitch.
Zach Abbott trained with the England senior ranks this week too, and that will surely give him the motivation to continue kicking on in his own career.
Anderson was named Player of the Match for his performance on his senior England debut, and after the game, one of his Three Lions teammates raved about his display.

Elliot Anderson praised by Noni Madueke
Arsenal star Madueke made a £50 million move to the Gunners in the summer and alongside Anderson, he was also handed a start for England on Saturday.
It was the impact of Anderson on the team that didn’t go unnoticed among his teammates, however, and Madueke praised the midfielder on ITV.
He said: “I knew he was top before because when we play Nottingham Forest, he is always so good.
“I knew he’d play like that, he was amazing and looked at home.”
Elliot Anderson stats vs Andorra
Anderson was outstanding during the game against Andorra and although the score was a little underwhelming, the Forest man seemingly cemented his place in the team.
England face Serbia next and that will throw up a whole different challenge as the Three Lions look to qualify for the World Cup next year.

Tuchel has to get England playing better and scoring more goals and having a player like Anderson to dictate the tempo might help as he settles into the team.
Hopefully, Anderson won’t be bizarrely taken out of the team following his Player of the Match performance on Saturday, and he will be fully focused on his next outing.
