Nuno Espirito Santo could be making a quick return to management after being sacked by Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
Nottingham Forest replaced Nuno Espirito Santo with Ange Postecoglou last week, as Evangelos Marinakis was far from happy with his public criticism of the club.
Nuno has already been linked with the West Ham United job, with Graham Potter under increasing pressure.
West Ham currently reside in 18th place after three defeats in their first four Premier League games, with their only win coming against Nuno’s Forest side, ironically.
Here’s how Hammers fans have reacted to the news about Nuno’s potential appointment.

How West Ham United fans feel about Nuno Espirito Santo potentially replacing Graham Potter
West Ham admire Nuno and his sudden availability makes him a candidate to replace Potter – if he gets the sack.
West Ham fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the potential appointment.
“He is s— like Moyes, his low block only works for a couple of seasons at best. Against us his team couldn’t open us up because he sat back, they didn’t have a clue,” @richardsmark99 posted.
@HappydaysBarry added: “They will moan about the football. If we do that we will go down. The whole club is lost at sea. Need to get the board out. It’s the only solution to saving the club.”
“So we didn’t like Moyes because he was too defensive and didn’t play entertaining football to go with Nuno now. Our management are clowns,” @ForeignGam3r said.
@FinchyRiley explained: “On paper looks a good move but it is basically full circle for us. We wanted a more forward-thinking, dominant, possession-based style of football. Nuno’s philosophy is very similar to Moyes. Results will improve but just seems we will be back where we started.”
Leeds United fans want Nuno
Nuno isn’t going to be short of options following his Forest exit, and Leeds United fans are keen to see him replace Daniel Farke at Elland Road.
@RhinoAsh6 admitted: “I would sack Farke today and appoint Nuno Santo, savage I know but Farke is not the man to take Leeds forward in the Premier League.”
“We’ve got a striker problem and managerial problem. Nuno got Chris Wood firing as one of the most prolific in the PL, could he do the same with Calvert-Lewin? Farke certainly can’t… Bring him in before West Ham do,” @LufcTest commented.
“Sack Farke and get Nuno. No time for sentiment at the highest level, @Leddy91 added.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Danny Murphy reckons Nuno will have lots of options.
“I think he’ll have multiple options. He’s a very competent man who seems to conduct himself the right way, until very recently.
“But he’s a certain style of manager, and there’ll always be clubs who need someone to be able to organise and discipline, and create a team that’s very difficult to play against. I don’t see him struggling for work at all.”
