Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have disagreed in their prediction for Nottingham Forest vs Sunderland.

Ange Postecoglou is still in search of his first win as Nottingham Forest head coach, but he has the chance to break his duck in his first match at the City Ground.

The Tricky Trees host Sunderland on Saturday evening and the Australian has a couple of selection headaches ahead of the game.

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have now given their predictions for the upcoming fixtures, and despite being on the same team for the predictions, they were unable to agree when it came to Forest.

Jamie Carragher says Nottingham Forest will win; Gary Neville disagrees

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have two different expectations for Saturday’s game against Sunderland.

Neville believes that the Garibaldi and the Black Cats will share the points, with Carragher believing that Forest will pick up the win.

Speaking on the Overlap, Carragher said, “I can’t see Sunderland winning at Forest,’ to which Gary Neville later said the game would end 2-2.

The former Liverpool defender questioned Neville’s prediction and suggested 2-1, with Neville conceding, saying, “2-1 Forest. I have been overruled.”

Gary Neville is not a popular man around Nottingham Forest, and his initial prediction will do no good in changing perceptions.

Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher’s recent claim about Forest has no doubt left him in bad standing with the Tricky Trees faithful.

His trust in Ange Postecoglou is unlikely to change fans’ opinions about him, but nonetheless, they will be happy to hear his verdict.

Roy Keane and Jill Scott were quick to predict a draw in Nottingham Forest vs Sunderland

On the other hand, the team of Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Jill Scott were quick to agree on their score prediction.

Ian Wright did not provide much input, but the trio ultimately decided on a 1-1 draw with Keane and Scott seemingly expecting a tight affair at the City Ground.

Ange Postecoglou and Nottingham Forest need a win to ease some of the pressure on them.

After Postecoglou’s arrival, the microscope has firmly been pointing towards him, and with no win under his belt yet, that will only continue to be the case.
